Sasquatch — Willow Creek

BEAT WORKSHOP · current candidates only · lock each beat, then we assemble
Beats 1 + 2 stitched (12.3s)WATCH THE JOIN
JUDGE: the flow — creep to the cave → fur slams past → down → roll → still. Does the join at 0:08 feel continuous? Does the pacing breathe right before the hit?
1ApproachLOCKED
LOCKED — nothing to judge. POV creep ending point-blank at the smoking cave mouth. Every later beat grows from this clip's final frame.
2The Hit — camera knocked downJUDGE
JUDGE (v9 SMOKE BURST — one continuous organic take, no synthetic assembly): the smoke at the cave EXPLODES outward as something charges through it → a black shadow blots the lens → the camera drops naturally in one motion → rests in the dirt. The figure in the smoke is curve-crushed to pure silhouette. (1) Does the eruption read as something lunging out of the cave? (2) Does the drop feel like a camera leaving a hand? (3) Silhouette: dark enough?
3The Glimpse — pickup, it runs offJUDGE
JUDGE (v3 — composited distant glimpse, your freeze-frame spec): no-hands pickup → rise to eye level → the frame "freezes" (with hand-held micro-shake so it never reads frozen) → OUR sasquatch, tiny and dark in the far fog, walks ~1.5s and steps behind the big trunk → empty forest. One continuous view, no cut. (1) Spot it on first watch? (2) Size/distance right? (3) Shake sell the continuity?
4The Reveal — the AW AIOJUDGE
JUDGE: Shot design only — device is a previz composite (final = true 3D render with matched light). (1) Device placement & size on the ground — natural drop spot? (2) Blink cadence (1.1s cycle) — faster/slower? (3) Push-in speed over 5s — creep slower, or punch in harder? (4) Is the branding readable enough at the end frame?
5Audio + end card + HUDWAITING
NEEDS FROM YOU: the whispered lines, recorded on an iPhone voice memo, dropped in our Slack DM — "yo… you hear that?" / "what the f— is that noise bro" / "are you serious…" / "bro that's crazy". Then: full assembly, sound design, blinking-REC HUD with backdated stamp, 21+ card.
